Additionally, daycare, preschool, and kindergarten programming will conclude at 12:15. For students in 1st grade and older, the full-day programming will be an additional $150.

Homework

At Co-op, we strive to strike a balance between providing a space to build lasting relationships and offering a structured, meaningful educational experience. Homework will progressively increase as students rise in age. Preschool and Kindergarten will have little to no homework. Students in 1st-3rd grade may have reading assignments to complete at home. Students in 4th grade and above will have reading/writing homework and may be assigned projects to complete throughout the year.

Admissions Requirements

To be considered for admission, families must agree to and sign our Statement of Faith, demonstrating alignment with the core beliefs and values of our co-op. An admissions interview is also required to ensure mutual fit and to answer any questions about our program. Additionally, a non-refundable registration fee must be submitted to secure your place in the co-op upon acceptance.

Daycare

Daycare will be offered for children two years old and under from 9 AM to 12:15. The yearly cost for daycare will be $250. Parents of students who turn three during the year and wish to have their child transition into preschool must contact leadership and pay a pro-rated tuition for the class. There will be a napping area and a free play area available from 1:15 PM to 2:15 PM for moms and their younger children while older siblings are attending the afternoon class.

Electives

We intend to offer a variety of elective classes next year. Electives will be offered by individual teachers, à la carte style, so each teacher will choose their subject, curriculum, etc. If you are interested in offering an elective class, please email us at [email protected].

Payment Plans

We understand that for large families, it may be challenging to pay the full tuition by August 1st. Please email us, and we will be happy to sit down with you and work with your family individually on a personalized plan.

Volunteering

Every parent or guardian will be required to volunteer. We intend to create a robust volunteer system that will ensure that the load will not fall on one individual, but will be shared by all, and therefore it will be a bearable and manageable load. We aim to foster a team mentality and involve you in making this co-op the best and most enjoyable experience possible. As homeschooling parents, the leadership believes that it is essential to be hands-on with our kids’ education and upbringing. We strive to foster close relationships with the families in attendance and collaborate with them to create an inviting and safe environment for our children. That’s why we need to make this a team effort. This does not necessarily mean you will be working all day, every day - we hope to create times for parents to have an opportunity to socialize and build great connections with other parents - but we want to emphasize that Anchored Homescool Academy co-op is truly a co-operative venture where everyone contributes.
